Sandvik’s RP550 Shock Absorber reduces shock and vibration, saving the drill rig’s rotary head to enhance performance and provide a much smoother drilling operation. Its innovative design makes it maintenance free and new safety coupling makes handling much safer than with other shock absorbers.

The shock absorber features safety couplings for locking connections, a full seal with no maintenance required to reduce time spent on the work deck and a floating cushion to dampen vibration and allow easy uncoupling. Cleaner operator windows lower the risk of damage or injury. The shock absorber also requires fewer changes, reducing the need for manual handling.
