Net Zero & Environment
Achieving net zero will require collaboration across the entire mining value chain. At Sandvik, we're reducing greenhouse gas emissions in our own operations while developing technologies and services that help our customers do the same.
Our climate targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), with a commitment to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across our value chain by 2050. From electrifying mining equipment and improving energy efficiency to increasing the use of renewable energy and working with suppliers to reduce emissions, we're taking action where we can make the greatest impact.
