Future of Mining 2026 - Sandvik Customer Event

You are warmly invited to join us for our Future of Mining 2026 Sandvik Customer Event in Tampere and Turku, Finland, August 31-September 3 and an optional visit to Sandviken, Sweden, August 29-30.

• August 31: An informal networking reception on the evening of Monday, August 31 will kick off the three-day event. Connect with your friends and colleagues over a relaxed meal and drinks.

• September 1: A full day of exciting events at Finland’s famous Nokia Arena in Tampere. Mats Eriksson, President of Sandvik Mining will open the day, followed by a series of in-depth, thought leadership presentations and panels from global mining companies. Learn how industry-leading operations are tackling their most pressing challenges and realizing new opportunities with the help of Sandvik’s solutions. The day will close with dinner and entertainment at the Nokia Arena.

• September 2: Go underground at Sandvik's state-of-the-art test mine in Tampere. Here we will launch our latest development drill with Deswik integration and a new 3D face scanner concept. Sandvik's AutoMine® and OptiMine® demo rooms will be open, and miners can visit the Innovation Center for presentations on My Sandvik Geo for Rock Drills, as well as other new rock drill technologies. Customers will have the chance to experience Sandvik's Digital Driller simulators and learn about our comprehensive aftermarket training and competence development offering, including Sandvik's Battery Academy, iSURE Masters program and Training Center of Excellence concept.

  Miners will also have the option to visit Sandvik's newly opened surface test pit facility near Tampere. Here we will showcase our new surface drilling concept vehicle, as well as parts and services for our complete rotary and surface drilling product suite. Customers will be able to get up close to the equipment and see machines, including the DR410iE rotary drill, in action, as well as time to pick the brains of our product experts.

• September 3: Following the showcase of Sandvik’s loader with next-generation automation capabilities at the Tampere test mine on day 2, customers are warmly invited to visit to our load and haul headquarters in Turku – home of the famous Toro® brand. This leg of the trip will include a factory visit and customers will be able to see Toro® trucks and loaders put through their paces on the test track.

• August 29: Guests will arrive in Sandviken during the afternoon and evening, followed by an informal welcome dinner. This relaxed gathering provides an opportunity to meet fellow participants and connect with Sandvik representatives ahead of the main program.

• August 30: Visit our world-class rock tools facility. Here, you can discover our latest innovations for both underground and surface drilling; learn how leading operations are improving their performance with Sandvik equipment, digital solutions and services; and join a guided tour of our modern production unit with a behind-the-scenes look at advanced manufacturing and engineering excellence.

*Customers who choose to join our pre-event in Sandviken, Sweden, will depart the morning of August 31 to join the main Future of Mining 2026 program in Tampere, Finland.
