For MAK, the Sandvik DR412iE is part of a broader transition toward electrified and lower- emission operations.

In the South Gobi, one of Mongolia’s leading privately-owned mining and industrial groups, Mongolyn Alt Corporation (MAK), is taking a decisive step toward lower-emission, technology-driven mining. At its Naryn Sukhait operation, the company recently commissioned two fully electric Sandvik DR412iE rotary blasthole drill rigs, marking a shift not just in equipment, but in how drilling performance is delivered.
