Mineral Bolt

The Mineral Bolt is a two-component, organic and mineral resin with high strength. Mineral Bolt is engineered for the installation of rock bolts. The resin is designed to firmly fix mechanical bolts or anchors in the borehole, stabilize grout for heavily cracked rock mass, seal against gas penetration, and stop water inflows.

The new pumpable resin package for Dual Controls enhances bolt installation, giving operators full control in challenging ground. It’s fully compatible with Versabolt™ for dynamic conditions, as well as DSI Hollow Bar System / Self-Drilling Bolts, and Resin Roof Bolts.

Safety, quality and productivity were the pillars in the development of this new product offering, ensuring optimal performance. Featuring Mineral Bolt pumpable resin, the set-up supports self-drilling bolts (SDB) and hollow bar bolts (HBB), as available from the DSI Hollow Bar System. The option is also available for Sandvik DS512i machines, as a custom order.

Post-grouting installation for high productivity

The DSI Hollow Bar System is designed for post-grouting installation to maximize productivity and safety, even in complex geology and are also compatible with new pumpable resin system. Ideal for deep mining, block caving, and rehabilitation projects.
