Corrosion protection through galvanizing
We provide a wide range of corrosion protection solutions for ground support elements used in mining and tunneling — including bolts, plates, and mesh. In addition to galvanizing, our offerings include various surface coatings and patented double corrosion protection systems for cable and solid bolts — all designed to enhance durability and long-term performance in demanding underground environments.

Why Galvanizing

Extended durability
Long-lasting protection against corrosion to maintain structural integrity.

Reduced maintenance
Less upkeep and downtime, lowering long-term operational costs.

Reliable performance
Consistent load transfer and safety, even in challenging environments.
What we offer
-
Comprehensive QA
We supply full Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Assurance reports in line with Australian Standards, including a Letter of Compliance.
-
Large-scale capacity
Our large galvanizing baths and heavy-lifting cranes (up to 16 tonnes) enable us to handle everything from small parts to modular structures and oversized assemblies.
-
Consistent quality
Galvanizing thickness and finish are inspected and verified to meet AS/NZS 4680 and other relevant standards.
Our facilities
With state-of-the-art facilities and decades of experience, we deliver premium galvanizing solutions for projects ranging from commercial infrastructure to large-scale mining and energy. Our Narangba plant is Queensland’s largest galvanizing facility, and our Kewdale site in Western Australia is the largest in the country — setting new standards in capability and scale.
We combine technical know-how and integrated blasting and galvanizing services to provide durable corrosion protection, fast turnaround, and trusted results.

Our galvanizing facilities are equipped to handle a wide range of component shapes and sizes. With large galvanizing baths and lifting equipment capable of managing loads up to 16 tonnes, we can process both standard and oversized steel elements. Larger structures can be galvanized in modular sections or using double-end dipping techniques to ensure complete coverage.
Our European-designed kettles, combustion, and automated handling systems lead the industry in technology—ensuring uniform surface quality, enhanced safety, and superior environmental control. They enable vertical hot-dip galvanizing of larger items, delivering a smoother finish while reducing the risk of hand injuries.
Dimensions and capacity
Kewdale zinc kettle | Queensland zinc kettle | |
Main plant (L x W x D) | 15.0 x 2.2 x 3.6 [m] | 13.0 x 1.8 x 3.0 [m] |
Spin plant (L x W x D) | 4.0 x 1.5 x 2.4 [m] | 3.0 x 1.2 x 1.5 [m] |
Max lifting capacity | 15 [tonnes] | 16 [tonnes] |
Max length double dip | 22.5 [metres] | 20 [metres] |
Please note: Dipping capacity is slightly less than the zinc bath size. Items largermthan zinc bath capacity may be double-end dipped.
Every item is processed through our controlled 8-step galvanizing procedure, resulting in a uniform, durable zinc coating that is metallurgically bonded to the steel. The final coating is tough, abrasion-resistant, and fully compliant with Australian Standards, providing consistent protection — even on edges and corners.
What we galvanize

Solid bolts
Galvanizing protects solid bolts from corrosion in harsh underground environments, extending their service life and maintaining load-bearing performance over time.

Omega-Bolt®
Due to their enclosed tube design, OMEGA-BOLTs are ideally suited to thermal diffusion galvanizing, which coats internal surfaces without risk of pressure buildup — ensuring full protection without compromising safety.

Infrastructure
Durable corrosion protection for large steel structures – reliable, sustainable, and low maintenance. We galvanize bridges, beams, railings, and other infrastructure components to ensure maximum service life, even in the toughest environments.
